SPRINGFIELD, ILL. -- Deanna Demuzio, who was sworn in Tuesday as a state senator to replace her late husband, Senate Majority Leader Vince Demuzio, said she planned to take up where he left off.
Deanna Demuzio, D-Carlinville, said she would adopt many of her husband's causes, such as education and health care. She said she would begin reviewing two plans for reforming the state's education system, one from Gov. Rod Blagojevich and another from House Speaker Michael Madigan. She also said she would advocate for health care.
One of the things I feel strongly about is health care issues. DO WE THINK VINCE WOULD HAVE HONESTLY VOTED FOR OBAMACARE??? I THINK NOT!!!!
